Writing

A few of my clips. Not all, mind you, because like any creative, 3 months after I finish a piece I'm completely ashamed of it, noticing in retrospect all of the corny jokes and unsuccessful witticisms. Though, sometimes, I'm intrigued at my own genius and proceed to laugh heartily and kiss the crap of the closest mirror (there are four in the nearby vicinity that is my bedroom/office).

TV Appearances and Consulting
Sometimes -- not often, mind you -- I'm asked to pitch in my opinions and advice to companies and organizations looking to get a handle on trends in consumer technology. I'm shocked when friends ask me which camera to buy, imagine my surprise when companies do.

NOKIA ENTERTAINMENT STUDY (PDF)
The study carried out by The Future Laboratory, interviewed trend-setting consumers from 17 countries about their digital behaviors and lifestyles signposting emerging entertainment trends. Combining views from industry leading figures with Nokia's own research from its 900 million consumers around the world, Nokia has constructed a global picture of what it believes entertainment will look like over the next five years.

I sometimes appear on television shows to exert my expertise on technology. None of the links of which you'll find here, because either a) they don't exist; or b) I hate listening to myself, as I have a "rural" Canadian accent sometimes, and it is so shameful that I cut myself on occasion (and, also, because I'm bored, and, also, because that's the only way to feel alive, really).
